For many years, both clubs have shared a passion for developing football within our community. Today, we are proud to strengthen that relationship further with a renewed commitment to working together to create opportunities for players, coaches and families across Bala.
As a symbol of this new chapter, Bala Town FC’s new away kit will proudly feature the iconic orange colours of Bala Juniors.
The orange shirt represents far more than a change of colour. It represents our shared ambition to create a pathway for local players, from their first involvement with Bala Juniors through to the opportunity to represent Bala Town FC.
It celebrates our town, our community, and the generations of players, coaches, volunteers and families who have helped build football in Bala over many years. Together, we will continue to support player development, strengthen coaching opportunities, and create a football environment that everyone connected with Bala can be proud of.
CEO of Bala Town FC, Nigel Aykroyd, said:
“This agreement marks an important step forward for football in Bala. By strengthening the relationship between Bala Town and Bala Juniors, we can create closer links between our clubs and provide a clearer pathway for young players developing within our community.
Choosing to wear orange as our away kit is a symbol of that shared vision and a recognition of everything Bala Juniors has achieved over the past 35 years. We want young players in Bala to see that there is an opportunity to develop, progress and aim for the highest level possible within their hometown club. This partnership is about working together to help make that happen.”
Chairman of Bala Juniors, Tim Williams, said:
“As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, this agreement represents an exciting new chapter for Bala Juniors and everyone connected with our club.
Our purpose has always been to give local children the opportunity to play football, develop their skills and enjoy being part of a team. Seeing Bala Town wear orange as their away kit is a fantastic gesture that recognises our club and the countless players, coaches and volunteers who have contributed to Bala Juniors over the last three and a half decades.
We look forward to building an even stronger relationship with Bala Town FC and creating more opportunities for the benefit of football across our community.”
