CPD Y Bala hosted a mini 9 a side football tournament last Sunday morning at Maes Tegid. Although there were only 4 teams competing it was well attended with everyone enjoying the summer sunshine and the bacon baps. A big thanks to the teams for joining the event – Brymbo Lodge Blue, Brymbo Lodge Yellow, Pwllheli Juniors and Chirk Youth FC.
The Club were extremely grateful to Nick Jones who organised the tournament and to our 2 young referees, Beau McKeown and Marco Frulloni who officiated excellently. We are now hoping to build on this first tournament and arrange a similar event at autumn half term.
